  1. Have your vehicle as clean as possible.
  2. Have the windshield replaced if there is a major crack or obstruction.
  3. If necessary, change the oil & top up the fluids. Buyers always check the condition & level of fluids.
  4. Supply available service records.
  5. Disclose any accident, salvage or rebuilt status for the vehicle.
  6. Make sure it is in good running condition and mechanically sound.
  7. Provide your buyer with a mechanical fitness report, lien search or CarProof report. The more information you can provide, the easier it will be to sell your vehicle.
  8. Ensure there is at least half a tank of fuel for test drives.
  9. Do not overprice your vehicle. Price it close to what it is worth in the marketplace as a private sale.
  10. Be patient. Some vehicles require more time to sell than others.
